Practical relief for those in urgent financial need

We’re there for people when things get tough. Our Everyday Community Support program practically helps those when they experience urgent financial need. Through State Government funding and donations, we’re able to provide immediate assistance through our programs to ensure that we’re meeting people in their place of need. Some of the support we provide is the provision of food vouchers, food hampers or other practical financial assistance. We also provide support with basic budgeting and financial literacy coaching.

We know that the need in our community is significant and that the best way for us to support our community and meet people’s needs is to work together with other community organisations. Every year we provide thousands of dollars and tons of food to other community organisations that provide food relief to support the work that they do.

Meeting people in their place of need

Emergency Relief is a program that The Everyday Community Support team provides backed by financial support provided by the QLD Government to support the most vulnerable in our community and provide urgent financial support.

Operating out of the Everyday Food Outlet, appointments run between 10:00am – 1:00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Visit us at:

24 Howard St, Nambour QLD 4560, Australia.

People are referred to our service from Centrelink or our partner organisations. Alternatively, someone can make an appointment to talk with one of our team members by calling us or dropping into the Food Outlet to make an appointment.

We are always looking for team to join our Community Support team. People can also partner with us financially, alternatively, if you have goods you would like to donate give us a call to talk with one of the team.

These are the key ideas that reflect our values and beliefs and inform what we do and how we do it.
