ABOUT
A place for community and connection
Daily Bread is a Nambour-based meal support kitchen that runs on Monday and Wednesday nights, providing a space for community support and connection.
Our dedicated team of volunteers serves an average of 70 meals each night and focuses on building meaningful connections with our guests.
We’re joined by other support agencies, such as Orange Sky Laundry and Community Health Homeless Outreach, to help connect our guests with additional services.

Meeting people in their place of need
Daily Bread is a meal support kitchen that provides a hot meal and dessert to those in need in our community.
The Daily Bread operates on a Monday and Wednesday night between 4pm and 6pm underneath St Luke’s Lutheran Church at 10 Sydney Street, Nambour.
From Wednesday, September 16 it will move to our new location at 73-79 Currie St, Nambour.
Daily Bread is accessed via Queen St.
If someone would like to join us for a meal, they can come along on either a Monday or Wednesday night. No need to RSVP, everyone is welcome.
We’re always looking for new volunteers or corporate partners to support the work we do. You can express your interest via our volunteer page or get in touch with us if you’d like to donate goods or partner with us financially.
STORIES OF HOPE
This is Kim's story:
Kim’s journey with the Daily Bread began one Wednesday evening, when she stepped through our doors with her 5-year-old son, seeking refuge from domestic violence in her hometown. Initially reserved and withdrawn, she quietly joined for dinner before leaving. However, a spark of connection ignited when one of our volunteers reached out to her, gradually forming a friendship over subsequent weeks.
