GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Who we are
Our organisational values can be summarised as:
- A commitment to understanding the needs of the vulnerable in our community
- A non-judgemental culture of empathy, kindness and hospitality
- Acknowledging the importance government, service providers and community stakeholder partnerships play in sustainably meeting our clients’ needs.

Our values...
We are non-judgemental
We are accepting of all people regardless of their faith, sexuality, ethnicity, ability, social or health status.
We understand vulnerability
We work to create places where people feel safe and secure.
We show empathy
We take the time to understand another’s point of view, experiences and emotions.
We help empower
We work to empower those we work with so that they can make choices that lead to growth and positive life change.
We are dedicated
We are committed to the work that we do – always giving 100%.
We are generous
We work to foster and maintain culture that values others and puts them first. We are always looking for opportunities to be generous, to show value to others, to bring joy and to be a blessing.
We are friendly
We smile and great everyone warmly. We have an upbeat, positive attitude. All of our interactions display kindness, warmth and hospitality.
We are collaborative
We are not competitive and acknowledge that we are better when we work together and can achieve more. We actively develop relationships with other community service providers, government and community stakeholders and work collaboratively with them to meet our clients’ needs.
At The Everyday Foundation it is our mission to meet people in their place of need. We want our community to know that there’s a place for them. Across our programs, we aim to provide opportunities for connection and pathways to help people break free from poverty. We hope we can support and empower them to make positive changes in their and their family’s lives to have a hope filled future not restricted by the needs of today.
